Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components
  • Support senior engineers in project execution and documentation
  • Perform basic analysis, calculations, and simulations
  • Contribute to innovative solutions for engineering problems
  • Participate in prototype development and production support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and quality assurance

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A completed Mechanical Engineering qualification (NQF Level 7) or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in an engineering or technical field (internships or full-time)
  • Strong technical foundation and problem-solving ability
  • Proven multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is an advantage
