Duties & Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely communication and resolution of client issues.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  1. Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Identify opportunities for growth within assigned accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Achieve sales targets by promoting the company’s products and services to key clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement account plans that align with business objectives.
  1. Strategic Account Planning:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for each key client, focusing on client retention, growth, and long-term partnership.
  • Monitor account performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet client and company goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.
  1. Market Intelligence:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the Group Commercial Manager and other relevant departments on market trends and client feedback.
  1. Contract Management:
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key clients to secure favourable terms for 2Roads Trading.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions and manage contract renewals.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market analysis for the Group Commercial Manager.
  • Analyse account performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  1. Customer Satisfaction:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality products and services that meet client expectations.
  • Manage and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or e A Master’s degree is advantageous
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or a related field, preferably within the industrial manufacturing or engineering services sector.
