Job Description

Oversee all site operations including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. Manage Timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve set objectives. Monitor progress, track millstones and addressing issues or delays proactively. Be client orientated and ensure clients needs or requirements are always met.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients and reporting on progress on daily meetings
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
  • Manage all Inspection and NDT co-ordinators on site.
  • Raising PRs for any Equipment, Consumables, Stationary etc. As and when required.
  • Monitoring all Inspections and NDT’s Being performed on site with assistance from Inspection and NDT Co-ordinators
  • Conducting quality and safety inspections as and when required
  • Checking and preparing site reports as and when required
  • Ensure compliance to all company Quality Procedures / Manuals / Process’s
  • Motivating the workforce
  • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise.
  • Using specialist project management computer programmes as and when required to plan for Projects.
  • Compile Budgets for upcoming Projects.
  • Make sound decisions under stressful situations.
  • Ensure Clients needs and requirements are met as per contractual obligations.
  • Perform Site walkdowns and Plant Inspections as and when required.
  • Ensure projects are completed in time and in budget.
  • Understand all terms definitions of all contractual needs.
  • Reduce expenditure where applicable.
  • Manage Site Fleet
  • Ad hoc duties as and when necessary.

Requirements
  • Matric Certificate
  • Qualified to at least three main NDT Level 2 techniques. (MT2 , PT2, UT2, RT2)
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Own vehicle (Added advantage).
  • Willing to travel outside of South African borders if required.
  • 7 years’ experience in the same or similar role (Power Station and Management experience Essential)
