We are excited to introduce our YES Programme graduates, highlighting their journeys and aspirations. This week, we spotlight Abigail Ashley Mkansi, a 25-year-old from Sebokeng, Gauteng.

Inspired by her mother, Abigail embodies a blend of kindness and creativity, which she applies in all her endeavours, continually pushing towards prosperity.
In her free time, Abigail enjoys cooking and going to the gym. These activities not only enhance her mood but also provide a sense of achievement. She appreciates the learning environment at 2Roads, where the balance of work and play allows for practical exploration alongside educational growth.
This internship marks Abigail’s first foray into the industrial field, and while she acknowledges her lack of prior experience, she is eager to learn. Her teacher played a pivotal role in guiding her towards business studies, aligning with her entrepreneurial mindset. At 2Roads, Abigail aims to gain insights into connecting people within and outside the organisation while developing her decision-making skills through real-world challenges.
As an aspiring Human Resources professional, Abigail understands the importance of recruiting suitable candidates to ensure organisational effectiveness and growth. She is confident that this opportunity will equip her with essential recruiting skills that will aid in her career development.

One of her aspirations includes having dinner with Kingsley Duba, which she believes would provide invaluable insights into strategic business management and the role of HR in shaping company culture.
With her educational background, Abigail recognises that hiring the right candidates is crucial for organisational success. She emphasises the need for equity and fairness in the workplace to create a healthy working environment.
